Desain balance Scorecard sebagai sistem pengukuran kinerja bisnis (Studi pada PT.Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Bandar Lampung)

ABSTRACT

Measuring performance is one of the important factors for any company or organization. Performance measurement is used as the basis for planning the organization in an effort to achieve the goals set in the future and as a tool to assess the success of the company or organization. Balanced Scorecard is a method of measuring the performance of organizations that attempt to translate the vision, mission and strategy company or organization into four perspectives, namely the measurement of financial perspective, customer satisfaction, internal business processes and learning and growth. This method is designed to anticipate the competition in the era of globalization. In this era of each organization are required to have the ability or the ability to be successful a certain advantage to win the competition.
The design of performance measurement Insurance Jiwasraya PT (Persero) is designed to anticipate the competition among life insurance companies. This design seeks to translate the vision, mission and strategy into the company's goal, reject the measure, targets and initiatives for the four perspectives and the framework of the various perspectives are.
Balanced Scorecard for the design AsuransiJiwasraya PT (Persero) is something new in the measurement of performance, for this company in the measurement of performance is still using the old pattern, that is only to see the ratio-the ratio of financial course, without seeing more musty-other aspect that may affect the ratio-the ratio of financial. From the results of the test against the Balanced Scorecard method, obtained results that this method can be used as a method of performance measurement continues to remain with the updateing of perspective-the perspective that is less appropriate to the development at this time.

Insurance Jiwasraya PT (Persero) will use the Balanced Scorecard as a strategic management system to manage the long-term strategy. Company focus measurements using Balanced Scorecard to set the strategic management process that includes:
1. Define and translate the vision, mission and strategy company

2. And communicate the goals and strategic ukuranukuran

3. Plan, set targets and coordinate strategic initiatives in the company

4. Increase forage and learning batik.

With changes in the performance measurement system is expected that companies will be able to create efficiency and effectiveness of work and also at the same time with the satisfaction of all customers.
